The other annoying thing is that even if you get the right charger and right cables, you might only get power delivery for certain devices. E.g. a charger + cable combo that works fine with phones and Chromebooks, but plugin a Dell laptop and nothing happens. Same with older Mac chargers - they'd not do anything when I plug my phone in even if they charged laptops ok (or at least this was the case a few years back)
