Why eating a sleigh’s worth of candy canes is a bad idea
- h2odragon 5y agoIt sounds like they couldn't find any data about the LD50 of "peppermint oil," which i doubt is a standardized enough product to be generic for that purpose. Friend of mine has an amusing story about the Christmas he got one of the 5lb chocolate bars as a gift, and spent the day eating it while watching football. Apparently 5lb of chocolate at once is bad for the digestion and having suffered himself, he was keen to warn others of the danger. Of course today those are 3lb so that's much better right? Once again the modern world protects us from our own foolishness.
