> Far-right activists reportedly used services like Telegram and Gab to organize against anti-extremist accounts that work to expose and keep track of white supremacists at hate rallies — they sought to get these accounts suspended and have their personal photos removed (via The Washington Post).
So there are accounts on Twitter that "expose and keep track" of people (I won't give them the benefit of the doubt re: their assumptions of "white supremacist" and "hate rallies"). This sounds awfully like illegal stalking to me. Twitter's new system is working as intended.
If you disagree, use that much vaunted empathy and put yourself in the shoes of the harassed.

No one forced them to attend, they have no expectation of privacy while attending and publishing their pictures is free speech. Making list of people who attended rally shouldn't be a problem, because attendees have nothing to be ashamed of. Right? > If you disagree, use that much vaunted empathy and put yourself in the shoes of the harassed. I love when people redefine meanings of words to suit their needs. I hope I didn't "harassed" you to much by pointing this out. "Harassed" is new "oppressed"?
