Yiddish Words Used in English
- bush-bby 5y agoAs a third generation American Jew, yiddish is something that when heard just lights up a special part in my brain. I’ve known Israelis who, when hearing Yiddish common words there is no inspiration of emotion, but amongst near all the other American Jews I know there is an immediate response. I feel like New York City has kept Yiddish in existence more than any other place in the world.
