Storm Lord 3000

Hey everyone, Help me to understand is this one more crazy idea or is it worth making a prototype? I think to build a device made from a universal IR controller and a camera that will detect the time of year on the screen (neural networks and so on) and tell your air conditioner to blow a warm tropical breeze or a cool north wind (not too cold for sure) Any ideas are welcome.
