It seems either the rise in admissions is purely coincidental, or Omicron is causing atypical symptoms?
- Imnimo 5y agoI read it as "lots of people have Omnicron now whereas previously Delta had passed, so we're picking it up a lot on routine testing, even for asymptomatic peopel"
- dsizzle 5y agoYeah, except there is also an increase in hospital admission, so the question is what's causing that if it's not omicron?
- Imnimo 5y agoOh, to be clear, I'm not saying Omicron isn't causing the increase - it definitely is. I just meant that when Omicron is running wild, you'll also start finding it among the baseline admissions.
