While that's true, the Green party and FDP seem to mean it, when they pushed for these rights and progressive legislation - and combined, they have the majority within the coalition. Here is to hope.
- freeflight 5y ago> they have the majority within the coalition A majority within the coalition does not translate to a majority in the Bundestag, which is what's needed to put any of these many promises and plans into actual action.
- monopoledance 5y agoWell, obviously. However, they can push for it within the coalition, which in total does have the majority. Obviously. My point is, both parties have a better track record for putting weight behind their "promises" than the SPD, which is a spineless vessel for anyone taking the leash.
