Verizon voice mail getting hijacked to the same number for years
- Justin_K 5y agoMy wife hasn't received VM's for weeks and just called support. They said it's been forwarded to the above number... how has this not been blacklisted by now?

- williamtwild 5y agoIts a RoBoKiller phone #. Did she install any anti spam apps?
- Justin_K 5y agoWouldn't be surprised - will check with her. Appreciate the reply and am surprised an app would have permission to change this setting!
- olyjohn 5y agoI'll tell you how... They don't give a fuck.
- rnotaro 5y agoI just did some verifications and it seems to be a number used by RoboKiller[1]. Have you wife installed that application or any spam blocking app? It basically forward spam call to that number. Maybe a bug or something happened when you deleted the app and the calls were still forwarding after the deletion. - decisionsmatter 5y agoEasy way of knowing if a number is associated with RoboKiller is to determine if they are using this LLC as their carrier: "NATIVE AMERICAN TELECOM - PINE RIDGE LLC" https://lookify.io/number/6056150720 https://lookify.io/number/6056150720
- Justin_K 5y agoInteresting find, appreciate it. Going to follow up with her
- arprocter 5y agoYeah, I helped someone with this problem a few weeks back. From what Verizon told me, it seems like an app somehow enabled *72 - any call that came in when the line was already in use or went to voicemail was redirected to a Dakota number. Dialing *73 disabled the forward and put things back to normal.
- iJohnDoe 5y agoAnyone know what the “weird voicemail” is or what happens when the number is called?
