- drekk 5y agoHIV was also completely ignored for the most part because they thought it was "gay cancer". Politics aren't biology but they can certainly become it. We pay more attention to things than we did then I hope. Millions of excess deaths in a given year should be noticeable given that you and I can argue this from nearly any point on the terrestrial surface remotely.
