- mint2 5y agoThey may and I’ve heard they’ve tried before, but insurance is a highly different industry outside their core, and they will at least have to partner with an insurance carrier if they don’t want to write other mfgs for which they have zero data access. Otherwise Having 3 different insurance companies because one has different car brands would be an awful customer experience and pricing driver risk would get double billed
