- pbaka 5y agoI find it somewhat clickbait-y to call Delta an outbreak, since it's already endemic and active everywhere. This makes it sound there will somehow be twice the impact on public health, which is highly doubtful. The SA chief medical officer reported case severity of Omicron cases was accross the board lower. Moreover, Omicron will probably overtake Delta as the dominant strain the same it has in SA.
