- jrootabega 5y agoI remember part of a book, "Souls in the Great Machine", on a post-apocalyptic fantasy Earth, where a "librarian" ran a computing device composed of hundreds of people working machinery together. She set up a duplicate computer to make sure the results always matched.
- Nasrudith 5y agoSome do that already in safety devices critical devices apparently. Mostly for making sure that both do not fail at the same time as opposed to examining differences. It works best when just one working is enough.
