Sure dang, I apologize and will try to frame my comments in ideological-related threads in a more positive, lighthearted discussion-fostering light in the future. When things tend to appear one-sided I do tend to go harder in the other direction to compensate and that's on me so again I apologize, and thanks for bringing it to my attention rather than banning me. (I will say I think the only flaw in this site, besides the inherent flaws in an upvoting type system, is the heavy-handedness of those who have comment-flagging powers. I have seen far more inflammatory comments not be flagged in the past than a couple that I've had flagged in the recent past.) When it comes to the upvote/reddit-style discussion sites, HN is definitely top-tier, and I've enjoyed coming here since around 2009 or so, so thank you for all you've done here to help foster that!
