In China you can be very wealthy, but when you criticize the government you will simply vanish. And in Russia you will be poisoned or just fall out of the window, if you are not useful for the government anymore. Whats the point of all the growth of wealth, if basic human right are violated every day in these countries? This is awful, but it's not something that ever have been significantly better in any of these countries.
