just like any product it should be reviewed by security experts of their respective field, for you - cryptography experts. if it is based on some new mathematical concepts then perhaps you need a whitepaper and have it peer-reviewed. otherwise pay for a security audit.
- ciprian_craciun 5y agoI agree that the best approach would be to pay for a security audit, however, (at least in my case) if the project is a small open-source project, most likely there isn't a (any) budget for multi-thousand $ audits. Thus I was hoping to identify some welcoming mailing lists or forums.
- high_byte 5y agoyour only chance is to release it to the world and hope it gains someone's interest enough to invest time looking into it.
