Reddit is growing fast. We have raised $410m in our Series F funding to make strategic investments in the platform including video, advertising, consumer products, and expanding into international markets.
We are hiring across the board, I want to specifically stress out the jobs for video product which is currently a really exciting area to work and innovate in.
For any Golang enthusiasts out there: we are writing more and more of our services in Go. We have interesting challenges in scaling, data pipelines and building the foundation for a series of new products.

- hanging 5y agoThere are 257 open positions with titles that lead with "Senior" {Scientist|Engineer|Manager}. That seems extreme. Does no element of the organization develop from within?
- masonic 5y agoMaybe this is why they are looking for five Retention Managers... one a Senior...

- addy13 5y agoAre these locations you have offices? I live in Amsterdam but require a work visa and would love to continue working from here.
- platzhirsch 5y agoAt least we are incorporated there. I cannot promise anything regarding visa-related questions but I would assume a visa transfer should be doable. Let me know if you want to chat about this.

- platzhirsch 5y agoSometimes there is room to also hire non-senior folk or the job posting for it is still missing. You can always find it a try.
- throwaway123x2 5y agoWould you hire senior engineers who don't have much experience directly with your stack but are interested in jumping ship?
- platzhirsch 5y agoYes, the technical stack does not matter as much as the concepts they embody. We believe everything can be learnt but depending on the roles there are skills like system design, distributed system, etc that should apply independent of the technology.
- Winterflow3r 5y agoHey! Is there a full list of EU countries you are incorporated in? Looking through Greenhouse, I can see at least Ireland and the Netherlands but wondering if there are others. Thanks in advance!
