I thought domain squatting violated US law? Is there some loophole or is paying just cheaper/quicker?
- dhosek 5y agoNot as far as I know. I worked for a while for a company whose main business was squatting and throwing up ads on the pages. At least I worked for the part of the company that was trying other revenue models like lead generation although LG is of only slightly greater social value.
- gowld 5y agoOnly if the domain is violating a trademark.
