Well, when you think about it - it makes total sense. I imagine it felt like true freedom for them being 30000ft in the air with no one to barge in or stop them from doing what they wanted. The flight destinations were just pretense.
- dustintrex 5y agoWhich is totally why you'd fly from straightlaced Singapore to teetotaling Brunei with the ex-President of the USA on board -- so convenient and inconspicuous!
- V__ 5y agoYou can think of Bill Clinton all you want, but do you think he would be stupid enough to do it with Secret Service on board and basically watching him? Not one flight mentions him before his presidency.
- secabeen 5y agoYup, especially when Seecret Service agents are compelled to report illegal acts: https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/politics/1998/05/23/congress-imposed-a-duty-to-report-criminal-activity/32cabc28-0903-4698-ae76-c59bc0962566/ https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/politics/1998/05/23/c...
- prohobo 5y agoAre you saying Bill Clinton was able to hide his diddling of teenagers from the Secret Service this whole time? Like, they just found out when we did?
- kordlessagain 5y agoIt’s interesting you used the term imagine a moment ago and here you are saying hide.
- V__ 5y agoI'm saying that would be nearly impossible, therefore improbable and implying the Secret Service would cover it up is also improbable. So no, he didn't do anything on these flights.
