I'd really like to see some performance benchmarks for this kind of libraries. We've been using weasyprint to generate pdfs from html but the performance was terrible: > 10 seconds for 5-6 pages and close to 100% CPU (on crappy hardware and lots of nested tables). Using headless chrome and puppeteer, same hardware and same html, we managed to get it to 2-3 seconds and barely noticeable CPU change. Anyone got more ideas to share? Removing the dependency on yet another docker service (running puppeteer) would be nice.
