It's more a correlation of dead comments and value added. I haven't seen a compelling denialist argument, so maybe they're dead because they're not compelling? From a distance I'd estimate maybe 40-50% of commenters are in the leaning neutral sceptic to oil apologist zone but I'm probably biased.
