The purpose of the motto isn't to give employees carte-blanche to do whatever they want. It's supposed to be a catch-all for situations that the company has not taken an explicit position on. If the company says "xyz isn't evil" explicitly, then the motto doesn't give you the right to work against that. This lawsuit is just childish.
