Stripe is preparing for an IPO, so naturally they will have some chaos in an effort to balloon it as much as possible.
- stefan_ 5y agoWhy on earth are you making excuses for a public company?
- sodality2 5y agoThat's not making excuses as much as providing an explanation for it imo
- a-r-t 5y agoI am not, I was making an observation about the "It's a mess and a revolving door of people" comment. The recruiting practice that OP described is not acceptable for any company, public or private.

- victor106 5y ago> Stripe is preparing for an IPO, I was thinking the same but this interview from Stripe’s CEO says otherwise. https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2021/11/23/stripe-very-happy-staying-private-co-founder-john-collison-says.html https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2021/11/23/stripe-very-happy-stayin...
- neom 5y agoBased on this interview, not sure who will be able to afford to buy $STRP when they do decide to go public. Nice for them, sad for the rest of us.
- forgotmysn 5y agoyou can buy fractional shares on just about every platform now. i bought $10 worth of nvidia stock today on RH, even though a full share trades for like ~$250 (i didnt pay that close attention)
