Given how easy it is to lose a job if the demand for work dries up, it seems rational to switch to selling work on your own terms.
At least while the market is good.
- vkou 5y agoDepends on where you work. If you work for a large company, and depending on what you do for it, there might be enough institutional inertia that will keep you from losing your job until demand rebounds.
