Show HN: Tempchan – Throwaway Discussion Boards
- Rendello 5y agoAn IRC analogue of this is https://hack.chat https://hack.chat.
- scotuswroteus 5y agoChange the name
- only4here 5y agoHow come? It seems fine to me
- zeptocosm 5y agoWell done, whoever crashed the board with post #80. That's what Show HN is for!
- peanut_worm 5y agoamazing how attaching the four letters “chan” to any product’s name makes people use the n-word as much as possible
- zeptocosm 5y agoPerhaps I have made a terrible mistake...
- teitoklien 5y agoNah, doesn’t matter what name you use, tempboards always attracts things like this. Tempchan is a good name, the name immediately makes it clear its purpose. Which is good.
- krapp 5y agoFinally, an internet version of Speaker's Corner! A platform untainted by the chilling effect of mainstream social conformity, unshackled by thought-police and witch-hunts, where true free speech can thrive. Let the symposium of enlightenment be opened to all and bring forth the unhindereed innovation of political, intellectual and scientific progress, the free exchange of controversial ideas and radical truths! Oh wait.... it's just more edgelord shitposting, racism and ASCII dicks. Never mind then.
- jcwayne 5y agoWould be nice if there were a way to differentiate all of the anonymous users. Personally I like Google's random animal name approach.
