I am reading an article and comments and see that typical on-call schedule is weekly. That's really brutal. We have a daily rotation, 3 ops and 5 devs, additionaly paid about 1/2 daily wage no matter if it's weekend or not. We can swap our days if someone has some plans. Overall, being a part of on-call team is really sought after.
