That's a very interesting thought, but the one thing I think would be a problem is fake torrents with other parties bitcoin wallets embedded. Also some bands don't want to operate on "donations" and want to set a price for the download. I wonder how that would work to be able to set a price. Of course you could avoid this by only getting the torrent from the official band's website, but fakes would certainly be a problem.
