What's the best way to know when it is okay to use Wd40? I used to wd40 my bike's chain until they told me not to at my local bike shop. But
they did not really given me a reason...it worked fine!
- mlindner 5y agoWD40 is a solvent, it removes other oils and greases and gunk. You can use it on things to clean them, but then you need to add grease back on after it's been cleaned.
