I really wonder how often omicron is really used as a Greek variable and who decides. Fun fact: Big O notation is actually big omicron notation.
- jhanschoo 5y agoBut of course, the latin O is what's come to be used in typography, since in the US it's conventional to leave Greek capitals unitalicized and that's not the case with big O.
