No clue about AZ, but lived in west palm beach for a while. Going from NYC to WPB was an interesting experience. It was much cleaner (thats because it is a wealthy area, I assume), quieter and generally nicer. But there wasn't as much to do as NYC. I also didn't see much diversity - mostly wealthy (we are talking high end sports car driving wealthy) white people. I guess it would work for a particular type of demographic. Weather was nice, though a bit hot for my taste. Everywhere I looked, they were building condos. This was 5 years ago, not what the deal is now.
