Came here to write this, but since you've already done it, there's nothing left for me to do but to tell you; well done.
(Tangentially; who even reads a rag like the Spectator?)
- blub 5y agoThe spectator’s one of the very few newspapers left which publish conservative opinions. Progressive newspapers on the other hand are a dime a dozen and are quite predictable both in what they say and how they say it.
- esarbe 5y agoWhat is the worth of getting "conservative opinions" published if they are based on a make-believe fantasy that has nothing to do whatsoever with the actual reality at hand, disregards scientific consensus and whose primary purpose is to foster outrage and anger at a straw-man boogieman? I mean, just take the story at hand? What's the intent behind an obvious outrage piece like this? While the Spectator is definitely is not the worst offender, it's factual reporting has been declining for years.
