I have to say one of my new favorite tools as of this year is Tailscale. To steal Apple's annoying marketing phrase: It just works. I've never had to fiddle with it's settings or spend a bunch time figuring out configuration crap. I just install, and login and that's it. There's no need to care about manually configuring Wireguard devices or to care about key management, which I would think would get annoying quick as you add in more and more devices.
