- perl4ever 5y agoI'm <300 km south of the border. When I was young, maple syrup was served with pancakes, but eventually I just preferred honey (aka "bee barf") on the rare occasion that I had them. I do remember maple sugar candy as a treat, but I haven't really had a craving to go look for it as an adult. I never have had a particular desire to visit Quebec, but since the COVID-19 restrictions, it's been on my mind, because I can't if I wanted to.
