The Metaverse Could Bring in $1T Annually, Says Grayscale
- TechBro8615 5y agoDoes Facebook actually have any recent or upcoming product launches that offer anything resembling the metaverse? Or was it just a convenient time to rebrand? It’s amusing to me that the Roblox stock, after hovering between $80-90 for most of the year, suddenly increased to a current price of $122 since Facebook announced their name change to Meta. Does Facebook announcing their (intended) “pivot” into the metaverse really have a meaningful effect on the outlook of a company that bas been pitching this vision for 10+ years? Or are investors herd animals that are unable to think for themselves?
