Are native GUIs really a dead end?
- krapp 5y agoUnfortunately, it seems that way. If it isn't dead then it's on the endangered species list. Electron / web-as-native has clearly won and it seems like no one is even attempting to improve the state of native GUI development as a result.

- ushakov 5y ago> no one is even attempting to improve the state of native GUI development as a result SwiftUI, React Native, Flutter disagree with you
- nicce 5y agoI am not so sure about React Native. Like Electron, it is framework for people with web developer skill, missing a lot what real native frameworks can do.
