I stay frugal, but have never really had to hem and haw about whether I should spring for the organic produce or fair trade coffee. "I can't afford this" is a lot more difficult of a circumstance to be in than "boy that was a dumb idea to purchase some pricey, fancy, but nasty cheese on a whim"
