- belter 5y agoOk its a bit confusing agree. My own fault. I think its not elegant to delete the post. What actually happened was that the government is announcing calamity status and I wanted to provide an English reference. Anybody else brush up on your Portuguese as of now: https://www.dn.pt/sociedade/acompanhe-aqui-as-novas-medidas-do-governo-de-combate-a-covid-19-14352657.html https://www.dn.pt/sociedade/acompanhe-aqui-as-novas-medidas-...
- jgrahamc 5y agoRight, they are, but the measures introduced today are not introducing a curfew. If you need an English reference this one works: https://www.portugalresident.com/back-to-calamity-portugal-braces-for-new-measures/ https://www.portugalresident.com/back-to-calamity-portugal-b...
- belter 5y agoThanks. From Portuguese article above "Access to care homes, health establishments and major cultural or sporting events requires the presentation of a negative test for the detection of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, even for people vaccinated against covid-19"
- jgrahamc 5y agoYes, but that's not a curfew.
- belter 5y agoAgree. Updated the title. Maybe dang can do something about my own mess and use your suggested English reference... Relevant here is that with exclusion of tiny Gibraltar, Portugal is the most vaccinated country in the world. As shown from the other NYT article here in the thread. The government however, is forced to adopt new strong measures, including testing mandatory for vaccinated persons.
