Why So Many Icelanders Still Believe in Invisible Elves
- bitxbitxbitcoin 5y agoSo the same reason so many people from insert country of choice still believe in invisible insert deity of choice. I couldn’t sus out any particular answer to the title question.
- flerovium 5y agoI think there might be something subtle going on where "belief" in something to oppose a political project translates is related to the project. Many old ghost stories were related to servants/lower classes as a way to negotiate/influence management they wouldn't otherwise have any way to interact with.
