I have a Tour Easy with a Tongshen TZSD2 mid drive with the open source firmware. Total cost of the conversion was about $1200 USD. Even when the electric assist was still limited to about 20mph, my commuting time went down my about 30% due to the higher speed on hill climbs. And I arrived at work without sweating to much! Delimiting it has allowed me to take a shorter route where I need to merge into 45mph traffic for a short stretch.
