Bought a TCL Roku tv from Walmart last year, opened it up and physically disconnected the wifi card now I just use the HDMI input works great for my needs.
- brundolf 5y agoHuh, I assumed those would be soldered on or otherwise baked into the chip
- sumthinprofound 5y agoit was mounted with two screws to plastic posts from the tv housing, and connected with either a ribbon cable or what resembled a mini coax cable (I forget the specifics, but at least on my model it was readily apparent).
