There's no way latency over the internet would be low enough to jam together... The latency of normal local computer soundcards without ASIO is too high for jamming. Anything above 10ms is noticeable.
- DerWOK 5y agoNot true. It works. After some brain adaption. Then it’s fun. And what is jamming about? Fun! Not recording the next chart breaker.
- rhizome 5y agoPeople have been trying this for over 20 years, the first one I knew about was a Dutch company piping (IIRC) MIDI across the globe with a Shoutcast-style client app. "DragonNet" or something.
