I followed this scandal for a while and it was very interesting who was involved in it and what they said. Everyone tweeted how they were upset but no one put any real pressure on anyone to do anything about her disappearance other than WTA. People used her disappearance as an excuse to increase their own clout on social media but none were actually willing to do anything beyond that. A few people tweeted something how this was a grave injustice and then immediately moved on to tweeting about what they had for lunch without realizing how callous their behavior looked to outsiders.
