Make sure to switch the default pet to one of the "gSheep" varieties, which is a much more complete recreation of the original than the default eSheep. Unfortunately sheep-sheep collisions are currently still missing from this recreated version, though, and while you can also run the original 16-bit sheep.exe on 64-bit Windows via OTVDM, sheep-sheep interactions are broken that way, too.
