One really nifty thing one can do in VS Code if you use Bitbucket at least (possibly others) is to open pull requests in VS Code using the Atlassian plugin. I'm no big Atlassian fan to put it mildly, but this is actually more brilliant than it sounds: Reviewing a pull request from the comfort of your IDE/editor, complete with ctrl-click navigation working, that is sometimes a game changer.
