Riding a motorbike the cross winds can play with you too. However the bikes I ride are largely self correcting for wind.(I think front wheel trail accounts for this? Happy to be corrected.) You do have to stay relaxed on the handlebars to let it happen. It is deviating your lean, grip, position on the road though so can't be mentally relaxed - just a bit relaxed on the bars.
