This is a pretty cool idea. The only catch is retaining consistent state across the page when there are multiple components that depend on same data. For instance, if there’s a form that submits to increment or decrement some dataset, but there is a stat based on that data in the sidebar, then it’s nearly impossible to keep the stat relevant. That said, its a planning problem than a stack problem. I’ve been trying this in all my hobby projects and am absolutely hooked. It feels simpler than even django-sockpuppet, say.
