Wouldn't the type of heated rhetoric you used be part of why it is difficult to talk about?
- tunesmith 5y agoFine, referring to them as "stupiderati" was over the line. But generally, it is the people who hear "lab leak" and immediately jump to the conclusion that it was 100% deliberate that make it difficult to talk about.
- SamoyedFurFluff 5y agoI think the entire attitude of a “them” that can be labeled that way is indicative of the sort of heated rhetoric that makes it hard to discuss things. One could’ve made this entirely blameless by simply describing the behavior without using an amorphous them. Think of it like blameless discussion of a program during a war room scenario.
