I also don't think people who marry early are doing so only to have sex, because a lot of the people who marry early tend also to be sexually active early. Circa 2008, I think very few people wait until marriage to have sex; even if they only have one partner, most people want to know that they're sexually compatible before making a lifelong commitment, for obviously good reasons.
