I make chrome only keep a few whitelisted cookies every time I close and disable 3rd party cookies. I think this system is close to temporary container in Firefox. I use Edge btw, and it has few great features. There is a collection feature with a toolbar button. It can saves all the opened tabs for later use, no memory hogging and need to use 3rd party extension. Few other toolbar buttons which provides faster experience than chrome.
