All billionaires do this. It's a common pattern because they know that media influences opinions and shapes the politics of large groups of people. There's nothing special about Bill in terms of donations to media outlets.

- holonomically 5y agoI guess it doesn't hurt. I personally don't follow gossip about billionaires so seems like a waste of money if that's why they do it.
