  Maybe it's because you chose to pick up a few Chinese achievements and ignore the corresponding Western results? China put a robot on the moon -> NASA put a helicopter on MARS [1] China achieved some milestone in nuclear fusion -> so did the National Ignition Facility [2].     I was reacting to OP's article > China put a robot on the moon -> NASA put a helicopter on MARS [1] And so did china! the west still haven't put anything on the far side of the moon > so did the National Ignition Facility 20% weaker than Tokamak > And so did the private startups Helion on paper, without any proof, without stating for how long they kept it running they are seeking for fundings, wich mean they are viable as of today So the west is now playing catch-up that's nice to hear
